E-Shaped H-Slotted Dual Band mmWave Antenna for 5G Technology

The aim of this work is to propose a dual band millimeter wave (mmwave) MIMO antenna system for 5G technology. In addition, the arrangement elements in an array should be such manner that without using traditional decoupling structures and/or techniques, reasonable isolation level must achieved. To demonstrate this, consists four radiating are etched on 0.508 mm-thick Rogers-5880 substrate. dielectric constant substrate 2.2 and loss tangent 0.0009. Each element three parts; E-shaped patch, H-shaped slot within transmission line. resonating at two different mmwave frequencies, i.e., 28 GHz 38 with minimum port dB. mean measured gain found 7.1 dBi 7.9 average efficiency, envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) 70%, 0.0005 respectively. proposed designed simulated full-wave electromagnetic software Computer Simulation Technology (CST), fabricated LPKF D104 milling machine, R&SZNA67 vector network analyzer. An excellent agreement observed between results detailed comparison previous works also presented. Due attributes as low-cost, easy fabricate, dual-band, it believed will find its application future systems.
